Orange County passes ordinance restricting use of waters near Bird Island

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A spokesperson for Orange County stated the board voted to move a new ordinance for Hen Island.

Users of law enforcement and government companies advised the commission that concerns close to the island on Lake Butler have been expanding. This includes issues above alcoholic beverages usage, swimmers near boats and a reduced wildlife existence.
