AUSTIN, Texas — The enterprise that owns Hen Scooters has prevented a lawsuit from Travis County leaders that would have resulted in some of its scooters getting taken off the streets of Austin.

Hen Rides Inc. had approximately $150,000 in delinquent residence taxes but, on Tuesday, the California-primarily based corporation at last paid out it off.

The property taxes ended up meant to be paid off by January and leaders with the Travis County Tax Office explained Bird had not been returning their calls for the past couple months.
